Problemi con l'installazione del programma Kbiff su EeePc con s.o. Linux Xandros
Dal momento che utilizzo più di un account di posta elettronica, vorrei installare sul mio EeePc un programma che consenta di vedere la posta giacente presso tutte le caselle di posta elettronica senza bisogno di scaricare i singoli messaggi, ma potendoli anzi rimuovere tramite l'applicazione: in altre parole le stesse funzionalità fornite da SimpleCheck per Windows.
Poiché tuttavia non ho trovato nulla di simile scorrendo l'elenco dei pacchetti synaptic disponibili sul repository della Asus, cercando in rete ho visto che esistono molti programmi di questo genere anche per Linux e la mia scelta è caduta su Kbiff (http://www.granroth.org/kbiff/) che dichiara espressamente di essere nato come un esercizio di programmazione in KDE.
Pensando dunque che tale origine lo rendesse più semplice da installare sull'EeePc, ho scaricato il file compresso in *.tar.gz2 e l'ho decompresso in una cartella temporanea.
Sennonché, dopo aver aperto la console e posizionato il cursore nella predetta cartella, ho dato il comando:
sudo ./configure
ma la configurazione non è andata a buon fine e si è generato il seguente report:
